International. The Ashrae Spain Chapter has presented the Spanish version of Ashrae Standard 90.1-2016, which has just been translated by a team of Chapter technicians.
This standard has an enormous importance for the building sector and is an essential tool for all professionals and companies that develop their activity within the market of air conditioning, heating, cooling, ventilation and energy saving.
The ANSI/ASHRAE/IES Standard 90.1 – 2016 "Energy Requirements for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential" establishes the minimum energy efficiency requirements for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of new buildings and their systems, new areas of buildings and their systems, new systems and equipment in existing buildings and new equipment or building systems clearly identified as part of industrial or manufacturing processes. In addition, it establishes the criteria for determining compliance with these requirements.
