International. Assa Abloy Entrance Systemas has launched its new range of sectional doors, which are characterized by improving energy efficiency, while saving costs. This range has a quick closing system and thermal insulation.
The new range of automatic doors consists of two new models that guarantee a uniform façade and a range of configuration options, according to the needs of each client. On the one hand there is the Assa Abloy OH1042S door that has a speed of up to four times higher than the rest of the models. With its design it has been possible to reduce the entry of air current as well as the external dirt and allows a saving of up to 12% in the cost of energy.
For its part, the Assa Abloy OH1082P door has a U-value of 0.46 W/m2k, which means a thermal insulation capacity above that required by current regulations, which stands at 1.4 W/m2K. These low values contribute to the reduction of carbon of the facilities while reducing energy consumption and the energy bill.
Under the new Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, included in the Kyoto Plan, it requires new buildings to be nearly energy-efficient from 2020. To do this, the regulations use environmental performance measures such as the use of coal, water consumption or loss of air conditioning.
