Mexico. The Sustainable Building Council of the United States (Usgbc) announced its decision to cancel the 2020 edition of Greenbuild Mexico, the event that was planned to take place on June 18 and 19 in Mexico City.
"Given the growing concerns around COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Greenbuild Mexico and our remaining in-person regional and local events for 2020. The health and safety of our community and staff is our number one priority. We are committed to rescheduling each of the cancelled regional and local events for 2021 and will contact you when additional information is available."
The Usgbc added that they have plans underway to provide a variety of virtual community meeting forums through a combination of videos, webinars and live content, which will be shared in the coming weeks.
In addition, they assured that anyone who is planning to attend an event that has been canceled can keep their registration and will receive a reissued ticket once the 2021 event is rescheduled. If you prefer to receive a refund, you can send an email to [email protected].
