A study of the State of Labor Independence in the United States conducted by MBO Partners notes that 10.9 million American workers were described in 2020 as digital nomads, which meant an increase of 49% compared to 2019. Meanwhile, the travel platform Airbnb, mentions that the volume of reviews of American guests that mention the word "remote work" since the beginning of the pandemic tripled compared to 2019.
But what are the ideal places for digital nomads to work? While this type of traveler can work from a hotel, a café or in spaces rented through digital platforms, the truth is that coworkings can be the place that digital nomads need.

The move to remote work as a result of the pandemic has made it visible that remote work works, which will allow many workers to join to be digital nomads, since it is estimated that in the next 2 to 3 years the trend will grow more than 19 million, according to data from MBO Partners. "This will contribute to the fact that over time we will see more digital nomads working in coworkings and other spaces, as well as more traditional offices becoming flexible spaces," concluded De Olazával.
