The marketing of hotels online has become increasingly frequent in the sector. For this reason, The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) and the Internet marketing portal Vizergy have launched the study called "Understanding How Hoteliers Use and Benefit from Website Analytics".
It is a survey that aims to know what type of follow-up hoteliers carry out to the web portals of their businesses, how often they review the data and what decisions are made based on that information.
According to Robert A. Gilbert, president and CEO of HSMAI, "the study is important because it will help us establish benchmarks in the handling of the information that is published and to determine some of the most effective practices that hotel owners and chains perform to boost sales in these establishments."
The survey you can find aquí will be available until Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Those who answer it will be the first to receive the results in the month of September.
