Colombia. Next Thursday 10, Friday 11 and Saturday 12 December will be held in the city of Valledupar the First National Congress and Fair of Products and Services to Horizontal Property, EXPO PH Valledupar 2015, event organized by La Liga del Consumidor Inmobiliario, La Mesa Regional de Propiedad Horizontal y Prohorizontal Consultores de Colombia S.A.S.
This congress, which will have the participation of Carlos Leyton, President (e) of ACFM, is the most important specialized event to be held within the Diamante Caribe and Santanderes Region of Colombia, due to the importance of the content of its theme: Give prominence and splice to the Statutes of Democratic Participation, Consumer, Laws and Jurisprudence with the culture and tradition that is lived within the co-properties.
The initiative is presented for the first time from Valledupar to the Caribbean diamond Region and Santanderes, to study experiences and advances in public policies of Horizontal Property in the cases of Barranquilla and Bucaramanga, the work of the different institutions in terms of functions and scope of the Mayor's Office, the Office of Registry of Public Instruments, the Curatorships, the Real Estate Consumer League of Valledupar, and the consequences of the new legislations to which co-properties must be subjected (IFRS, Swimming Pools, Anti-Contraband Law, Petition Law, Insolvency, Citizen Oversight, Insurance, etc.), topics that will be exposed by leading experts at the national level.
The invitation is extended to the entire community of the city of Valledupar that grows rapidly, that which is immersed in everything related to the Horizontal Property regime and that is framed within the definition of consumer of real estate goods and services contemplated within Decree 1480 of 2011 (Consumer Statute) and Law 1673 of 2013. Due to its importance, this community must be treated as a social sector with a special public policy as established by Law 1757 of 2015, the Statute of Democratic Participation, which goes in favor of the interests and rights of the real estate consumer and as a guarantor of respectful and equitable consumer relations, in the period of beginning of the post-national conflict.
Extending to a scenario beyond the academic, it is a unique opportunity to update in regulations, technology, trends, innovation, strengthening of commercial relationships, services and solutions, as well as to identify new business trends on Horizontal Property; all this through a commercial sample where specialized firms and companies providing goods and services to the property such as maintenance, cleaning, administration, accounting, software, real estate services, banks, insurers, security and private surveillance, among others, in order to provide attendees with greater and innovative tools and alternatives for their management and immersion within the market and the study of Horizontal Properties.
