Control4 announced the availability of Control4 OS 2.9 and highlights its open platform for the connected home with the Connects with Control4 program, which includes integration supporting nearly 10,000 third-party devices and partnership with partners such as Amazon, Lutron, Sonos, Z-Wave, among others. OS 2.9 provides enhanced experiences for Control4 owners, developers, residents, and authorized resellers.
With OS 2.9, Control4 introduces practical customization for the owner. From a touchscreen interface, users can create their own Get up and sleep scenes, set up individually per room, including music, TV and blinds. Merchants can also customize the Control4 user interface for single uses in any smart home with Experience Buttons, which include dynamic graphics icons for favorite customers.
Control4 OS 2.9 includes all new blind and window scenes with an intuitive interface for controlling automated individual windows also covering the entire system of blinds throughout the home, including full interoperability with products from blind and window manufacturers such as Lutron, Qmotion and Somfy.
