International. As announced in its 2016 Sustainability Report, Ricoh will reduce its CO2 emissions into the atmosphere by 30% in 2020 compared to the emissions recorded in 2000.
To achieve this, from the Facility Management area, the electricity supply contract of the work centers that the company has in Spain has been renewed, (17 office spaces and 2 production centers) that consume just over 2 million kWh annually. From now on, they will incorporate "Green Certificate", which guarantees the origin of the energy consumed, generated by renewable energies, in this way Ricoh Spain is aligned with the global objectives of the group.
Ricoh proposes in its Sustainability Report a series of objectives that, such as the reduction of environmental impact in the medium and long term (2020 and 2050), the prevention of global warming, the recycling and conservation of biodiversity, or the prevention of pollution, concern its ecosystem of partners, collaborators and shareholders and, by extension, to society as a whole.
