International. KNX Association redesigned its tool for the design of intelligent buildings ETS (Engineering Tool Software), providing it with new functionalities.
With the new ETS5 it will be possible to easily and quickly integrate KNX components that communicate by radio frequency. Likewise, the management of the databases was simplified and a Dongle was developed that makes the management of the projects more flexible. With the new ETS5, KNX Association will meet the demands for a more 'friendly' software management.
The new version of the ETS softwaer offers numerous functionalities for an efficient and economical integration of KNX systems. Some of the improvements are the integration of KNX radio frequency components (KNX RF) from different manufacturers, USB dongle for simplified handling and a memory of 4 GB to save project data, import and export faster due to a technology without databases, optimized user interface with more space for the essentials, higher power due to 64 Bit applications, possibility of using ETS5 in parallel with etS4 and ETS3 versions on the same computer and integration of components by radio frequency.
ETS5 is available in three versions: free 'ETS5 Demo' for testing and mini-projects, 'ETS5 Lite' for small and medium-sized projects and 'ETS5 Professional' for all types of projects.
