More than 55,000 restaurants worldwide are equipped with an Orderman system. With this new solution, restaurants and other venues can provide fast and reliable service with highly reliable Wi-Fi from Cambium Networks.
NCR Orderman's wireless booking system includes POS terminals, portable ordering systems and practical accessories, enabling hospitality companies to take and forward orders and perform invoicing with efficiency. By printing invoices for the customer directly to the table and streamlining order processing, venues can deliver higher levels of guest or diner satisfaction while improving performance and efficiency. A consistently reliable Wi-Fi infrastructure is crucial to achieving all the benefits of the NCR Orderman system.
NCR Orderman had used 433 MHz radio transmissions for communications infrastructure. By leveraging Wi-Fi technology, a network can support guest access while providing secure and reliable connectivity for on-site POS systems. Therefore, NCR Orderman has developed new portable devices with Wi-Fi capability and also offers extensive wireless internet services. For this solution, the company exclusively uses proven Wi-Fi 6 access points, cnMatrix™ Ethernet switches, and cnMaestro™ cloud management solutions from Cambium Networks.
Planning, installation and maintenance as a complete package
NCR Orderman offers catering companies and resellers a comprehensive suite of Wi-Fi solutions. This includes not only the broad portfolio of products, such as portable devices and POS systems, but also the testing of an existing Wi-Fi network (WiFine Service) or the planning of a new infrastructure (Wi-Fi Site Survey). Problem support and maintenance are also included in the NCR Orderman portfolio. Numerous configuration templates have been created for restaurants and are available in Cambium Networks' cnMaestro management system to allow establishments to quickly create a coverage design that suits the company.
